Jeanette Gloria Ann Zitterkopf Dec 4,1924-Nov 28,2014 Jeanette Gloria Ann Zitterkopf, age 89, of Gering passed away Nov. 28, 2014 at Regional West Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Dec 1,2014 at the Salem Congregational Church in Scottsbluff. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Jeanette was born Dec. 4, 1924 south of Mitchell to parents Adolph Swanson and wife Anna (Engstrom) Swanson. She attended Springer School for her education.She met Jake Zitterkopf and they were united in marriage on April 18, 1946. To this union two sons were born. She farmed with Jake in Mitchell Valley from 1949 until they moved to Lyman in 1956. They continued to farm there until 1977 when they retired. In Feb., 1980 they moved to Scottsbluff.Jeanette was on dialysis for several years. She resided at Northfield Villa.She liked to go fishing in her younger days and was a big Nebraska football and volleyball fan in her later years. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters and two brothers; Edith, Ruby, Viola, Carl and Fred. Scottsbluff Star Herald November 29, 2014
