Bio
Son of Marvin & Joan (Nickolite) Cech. He received his early education at St. Bonaventure Catholic School and District #9. Greg graduated from Lakeview High School in 1980. He worked at D&L, Behlens and Fagen before working for the family business of U& I Sanitation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. Greg is survived by: Wife: Brenda Cech of Columbus, NE Mother: Joan Cech of Platte Center, NE Daughter: Bobbi (Neil Barels) Cech of Columbus, NE Son: Bryn Cech of Columbus, NE Daughter: Kayla Cech of Columbus, NE Daughter: Brandi Cech of Columbus, NE Brother: Andy Cech of Columbus, NE Brother: Todd Cech of Columbus, NE Brother: Tim (Laurie) Cech of Columbus, NE Sister: Tammy Cech of Platte Center, NE Granddaughter: Macenna Barels of Columbus, NE In-laws: Daniel & Alice Tschantre Sr. of Columbus, NE and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
