Ruth Frances Goodman Dickinson Mayo January 18, 1927 - November 25, 2014 Ruth Mayo, 87, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in Waco. She was born January 18, 1927 in Hill County the daughter of Staley and Gracie Goodman. In 1979, she retired as a seamstress from Woods Manufacturing in Waco. She enjoyed watching TV, going to Wal-Mart, going out to eat and listening to country music. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Bobby Lee Mayo on February 28, 1971, son, David Harold Dickinson, two brothers, R. D. Goodman and Ed Goodman and a sister, Alice Ridlehuber. Survivors include two children, Ridley Don Dickinson and Bobbie Ruth Mayo, brother, Billy Ray Goodman; two sisters, Virginia Thomas and Doris Brown, eight grand children and ten great-grand children. Funeral services will be held November 29, 2014 in Hillsboro.
