1900 Harrison County, Texas Census finds Maude in the household with her Grandmother Millie (Putnam) Alexander. 1900 Household Members: Millie Alexander 70 Turner Starr 17 Grandson of HH, Minnie Alexander 11, Maymie Alexander 9, Willie Alexander 7, Maudie Alexander age 3 Granddaughter. From the census, I gather Maude married 1st Frank B. Smith an had a number of children by him but by 1940 had married William M. Smith and the family resided in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. Maudie was the daughter of Josephine Winn/Wynn and Randall Lee Alexander, born Ida, Louisiana, informat named on DC was William K. Smith, she was widowed, involved in car/tractor trailer collision on US Hwy 80 & SH 154 in Marshall, Texas.
