Obituary- Transcribed from the Ozark County Times, Gainesville, Mo. on 2-8-1990. RAYMOND F. LUNA Funeral services for Ozark County native and former resident Raymond F. Luna, 80 of Branson, were held Feb. 2, 1990 at the First Christian Church in Gainesville, Rev. Wiley McGee and rev. Gene Bates officiating. Mr. Luna died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 1990, at Skaggs Community Hospital in Branson. He was born Nov. 28, 1909, in Gainesville, the son of Rufus E. and Beulah (McDonald) Luna. He married Opal Faye Allen March 23, 1947, in Mtn. Home, Ark. They moved to Branson 12 years ago from Gainesville. He was a farmer and restaurant owner and operator for 13 years in Gainesville and a member of Gainesville First christian Church. Mr. Luna is survived by his wife, Opal; three daughters, Sandra Amyx of Rockbridge; and Sonja Grisham and Mary Lee Adamson, both of Gainesville; two brothers, John Luna and Joe Luna, both of Gainesville; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Interment was in Gainesville Cemetery, under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home.
