Andy Farless, 74, of Vivian, LA passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Friday, November 21, 2014, at Gray Baptist Church, in Gray, Texas, officiated by Rev. Wayne Shew and Dr. Jim Moss. Interment will follow at 2 pm, at Chatham Cemetery in Chatham, LA. There will be a time of visitation on Thursday, November 20th, from 6-8 pm at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA. Andy was born in Vivian, LA, to Andrew Herman Farless Sr. and wife Coye Barlow Farless. Mr. Farless was a member of Gray Baptist Church in Gray, Texas. He lived in Alaska for 12 years, but most of his life he lived in Vivian. He taught in Alaska, Texas and Louisiana. He was very enthusiastic in everything he did. He played football and ran track at LA Tech from 1959-1963. Andy loved his Lord Jesus very much and loved coaching and teaching young people. Andy is preceded in death by his daughter Kay Farless, his parents, his sister Jane Davis, and his nephew Ricky Furlong. He is survived by his wife Lyn Farless of Vivian, LA, and a number of cousins.
