Patsy Henson Myers, of Harper, TX (formerly of Poteet and San Antonio), died Friday, March 23, 2001 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Patsy was born on February 1, 1929 in Bruceville, TX. She married Denny L. Myers on November 11, 1948 in San Antonio and he preceded her in death on January 1, 1992. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her mother, Lila Webb Brown. Her survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Donald Buch; granddaughter, Jenna Buch; sister and brother-in-law, Norma Dean and Joseph Alexander; sisters-in-law, Maxine Cooper, Barbara McWhirter and Catherine Porubsky; beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews and faithful friends, Helen Wooldridge and Ginny Necker. Patsy worked for Southwestern Bell for 38 years where she cultivated lasting and enduring friendships. Heartfelt thanks to the nursing and counseling staff at RIOSA and the caring staff on the Oncology ward at Methodist Hospital. Dr. Fichtel will be forever remembered for the tender care given to Pat and consoling words to Patricia. Visitation on Sunday from 6:00-9:00 P.M. and Service at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, March 26, 2001.
