Mr. Bobby Fay Simpson, age 73, of Anna, Texas passed away January 14, 2011, in McKinney, Texas. He was born on December 9, 1937, in McKinney, Texas to John William and Nora Pearl (Pennington) Simpson. On February 17, 1979, he married Masako Nakama in Reno, Nevada. Mr. Simpson retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 30 years of service. Subsequently, he retired from Amtrol in Plano, Texas. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife, Masako; children, Max C. Simpson and wife, Betsy of Garland, Texas, John Simpson and Garry Simpson and wife, Amy all of Pottsboro, Texas; David Simpson and wife, Tonnie of Anna; Bobby Tompkins of McKinney, Texas, and Donna Benevides and husband, Bobby of Melissa, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, David McCartney; grandsons, Jacob and Mark Simpson; brothers, John William Simpson, Jr., and Ollie Simpson; and sisters, Mary Tucker and Nora Ribich. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 17, 2011, at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
