Rachel (Doris) Fisher October 19, 1925 - October 5, 2011 Boonville, Ind. - Rachel (Doris) Fisher, born Oct. 19, 1925 in Evansville, Ind. to Sam and Nola (Edwards) Fleeger passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. She loved the Lord and was of Baptist faith. In later life, she enjoyed traveling around the world with family. Rachel enjoyed bowling and had worked as a waitress and as a nurse's aid for a nursing home. Rachel was preceded in death by her husband Walter R. (Bud) Fisher in l995 and her granddaughter, Kelly Springston and six brothers and sisters. Surviving are her children: daughter, Linda (Larry) Roth, Boonville, Ind. sons, Ray (Cheryl) Springston, Holland, Ind. and Brian Springston, Jasper, Ind., five grandchildren: Todd Isaac, Newburgh, Ind., Taylor Sanders, Muncie, Ind., Walter Springston, Muncie, Ind., Liberty Springston, Jasper, Ind., Ronald G. Kieser, Jasper, Ind., three step grandchildren: Amber Jarvis, Courtney Werne, Jessica White, one great grandchild, Havyn Sanders, two step great grandchildren, Hailee and Kaleb Jarvis. Two sisters, Delores Naders, Kissimmee, Florida, Jean Anderson, Mt. Vernon, Ind., one brother, Sam Fleeger, Ft. Bliss, Texas, several nieces and nephews.
