New Part Aged 67yr; wife of Hiram Walter Van Cleave. Married Aug 25, 1825, Shelby, Kentucky. Resided in Park County, Indiana in 1830 and 1840 census. Moved to Iowa by 1850 census. Paulina Mitchell Van Cleave was the daughter of Daniel Mitchell III and Mary Overstreet. Other siblings: Malinda Mitchell (md Cyrus Van Cleave (b. 1795) brother to Hiram Walter), Lucinda Mitchell, Gabriel Mitchell and James Mitchell (Cyrus Van Cleave (b. 1795) was made guardian of Lucinda and Paulina 8-18-1823) Children of Hiram Walter and Paulina Mitchell Van Cleave: Hiram William (1827 - 1913) md 1846 Mary Carter Cyrus O (1831 - md 1863 Celia Rebecca Rader Newton Brown (1832-1915) md 1853 Hannah Rader James A (1835 - 1904) md Sarah Ann Tipton Ann Hopp (1845 - ) md W.E.
