Johann "John" Krebsbach immigrated from Germany to the U.S., arriving in New York on 25 Aug 1856 aboard the ship Alice Tainter. His father, Johann Joseph Krebsbach (1799-1869) brought with him six children; Anton Krebsbach (1830-1898), son of his 3rd wife, Margaretha Pitzen (1804-1837); Mathias Krebsbach (1840-1921), FAG #50319576; Johann "John" Krebsbach (1842-1929), FAG #138523747; Anna Gertrude Krebsbach (1844-1913); Jacob Krebsbach (1847-____); and Johann Joseph Krebsbach (1849-____) all from his 4th wife, Anna Elisabeth Meurer (1810-1850).
