Edgar E. Voss, 94, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road. Interment: Benbrook Cemetery. Edgar was born Oct. 15, 1920, in Dike to Elbert and Thelma Young Voss. He married Glenece Causey in 1941 and they enjoyed 65 years together until her passing in 2006. Edgar was a longtime employee of General Dynamics, a lifelong Mason, and loved fishing with his family and friends on the Texas Coast. He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Terry Voss; and a great-grandson, Preston Voss. Survivors: Sons, Randy Voss and wife, Brenda, of La Veta, Colo., Eddy Voss and partner, Teresa Bolding, of Port O'Connor and Roy Voss of Graham; sister, Betty Goodman of Garland; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
