HORATIO TILDEN DRAPER 20 was born at the old family home near Murray, Nebraska, in 1877. He was the son of Daniel Sylvester Draper 9 and Rosann (Carpender) Draper. Mr. Draper before the turn of the century moved to Kansas City, Kansas. Here he married Mary Oldman June 12 , I907. Draper was a successful business man. He and his sons (Tilden Horatio Draper I67 and Daniel Floyd Draper I68) operated a feed store in Kansas City for many years. OBITUARY OF HORATIO TILDEN DRAPER 20 AS PRINTED IN THE KANSAS CITY STAR, APRIL 12, I96I. Funeral services for Horatio Tilden Draper, 83, of 3227 North 18th Street, will be at 3:30 P.M. to-morrow at the Fulton Chapel where friends may call after 5 today. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Draper died yesterday at St. Margaret's Hospital where he had been since Sunday. He came to Kansas City, Kansas, in I898, and lived in the Armourdale District until the I95I flood. He owned The Draper Hay and Grain Company until his retirement in 1940 . Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Draper, a daughter Mrs. Pearl Ashley, and a son, Tilden Horatio Draper, all of the home; another daughter, Mrs. Lorene Bachert, 2726 North 37th Street; another son, Daniel Floyd Draper, 1725 South Valley; two sisters, Mrs. Adah Fickler, Stanton, Nebraska and Mrs. Florence Schlotman, Valparasio, Nebraska; a brother, Daniel D. Draper, of Topeka, Kansas. Out of city relatives attending the funeral were as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Daniel D. Draper of Topeka, Kansas; Mr. and Mrs. George Sylvester Draper of Lincoln, Nebraska; Mrs. Jesse Sylvester Draper of Tahlequah, Oklahaoma; Mr. and Mrs. John L. Fickler of Topeka, Kansas; and Daniel D.
