Bio

Nancy Elizabeth McDaniel, 55, of Streetman, passed away November 6, 2014. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home, Fairfield. Service will follow at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Hergett officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Nancy was born in Fairfield, Texas, to John Thomas Griffin and Tiny Mae Payne Griffin. She was a lifelong resident of Streetman and attended Kirvin Baptist Church. She enjoyed music, singing, native American art, dancing, and her family. She always had music playing. She was preceded in death by her father, John Thomas Griffin; granddaughter, Krista Rae Hardin; and nephew, Justin Rollins. Survivors include her husband, Dennis McDaniel; children: Rachal Owens, Linda Minchew, Jennifer Hardin, Shaun Gill, Clayton McDaniel, Johnny Drews, and Jody Drews; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; mother, Tiny Robinson; sisters: Mary Croft, Betty Wilcoxen, Donna Bellah, Lisa Burkhalter, and Linda Butler, brother, Thomas Griffin; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
