Ruth Ann Kotrla Schiller Janacek, 81, of Temple, died Tuesday, November 4, 2014, in a Temple Living Center. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 7, 2014, with Rosary being recited at 7 p.m., at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Deacon Ronnie Lastovica officiating. Burial will be in Seaton Cemetery. Ruth Ann was born in Oscar, Texas, to the late John Kotrla and Millie Martinek Kotrla. She lived in the Temple area all of her life. She married William S. Schiller in 1956. She worked in Food Service for Temple Schools. She married Frank W. Janacek in 1980. She was a member of SPJST Lodge 47 and a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William S. Schiller, in 1978; and her second husband, Frank W. Janacek, in 1999.
