Paul Douglas Sims, 63, of Crestline, passed away Sunday, July 15 at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton. A native of Texarkana, Texas, Paul was born Jan. 4, 1949 to Ardin and La Mearle Sims. A Fontana High School graduate of the Class of 1967, Paul was a contractor in the Lake Arrowhead area for more than 30 years. In addition to being a great family man, Paul was a huge NASCAR fan. Married for 43 years, he leaves behind his loving wife Constance. He is survived by two sons, Paul (Gabrielle) of Hesperia and Jason of Crestline; as well as two brothers; Kenny (Oma) of Tupelo, MI, and Mike (Linda) of Oregon City, OR. Paul also leaves two beloved grandchildren, William and Brooke, both of Hesperia. Services were private. Dickey Mortuary, Fontana, was in charge of arrangements.
