George W. Kays married 9 Nov. 1842 in Washington Co. Ky., Sarah A. Colvin. Note - The Gross Brothers of Lee, Vermont fabricated a marble veterans monument for George W. Kays of Washington County. He was a private in Company F of the 6th Regiment of the Kentucky Cavalry.
