Bio
Early Life: Karl was born May 2, 1949, in Provo, Utah, to Howard R. and Glennes LeeMaster Nelson. He spoke fondly of many happy childhood memories of family and friends. Throughout his life he was actively involved in sports; he graduated from Provo High School, where he excelled in football and basketball. Life's Work/Service/Interests: In the summer of 1969, he married Kristen Lee Bowcutt. They made beautiful Heber valley their home. In their twenty-five years together, they raised four wonderful sons. Karl had a passion for the outdoors, especially the desert of southern Utah. Camping, fishing, gardening, and numerous sports were among his favorite pastimes. His love of family and his fun spirit will be greatly missed. Karl Raymond Nelson passed away on May 9, 2007, after a long fight with cancer. Survived By: Privacy protected. Obituary may have this information, sources available below.
