Daniel Wayne Gage, 54, of Anna, Texas, passed away on October 311, 2014 in Sherman, Texas. He was born February 17, 1960 in Gilmer, Texas to Joseph LeRoy and Cassie Gage. He was of Baptist Faith. He was a Linesman for Actitech Company. He enjoyed woodworking, riding motorcycles, fishing, but most of all he love being with family more. He is survived by: Daughter: Candi Thomas (Robert) of Saltillo, Texas; Son: James Gage (Lisa) of Deer Park, Texas; Granddaughters: Jada Thomas, Jazzmin, Blair and Jayme Gage; Brothers: Terry Gage (Trisha) of Princeton, Texas, Jackie Gage (Connie) of Wichita, Kansas; Sisters: Lorraine Betts of Bonham, Texas and Shirley Quintero (Vince) of Paris, Texas, Nephew and Best Friend: Joshua Jones (Patti) of McKinney, Texas, several nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was loved and will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by: Father: Joseph LeRoy Gage; Mother: Cassie P. Simmons Gage; and Grandmother: Delia Simmons. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville, Texas. Graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in MeritCemetery. Rev. Tom Ogden will officiate.
