Addis "Verne" Routon Roe, age 95, a longtime resident of Oak Hill, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2006. Mrs. Roe was born in Jollyville, Texas, on May 15, 1910. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Clinton "Kyrie" Roe Sr.; twin sister, Addie Fern Routon Roe; brothers, Othelo Christian Routon, Pike Morrison Routon, and Cullen Meadows Routon. Survivors include her daughter, Kay Roe; son, Carl Roe and wife, Sue; two grandsons, Tommy and wife, Jennifer, and Rusty and wife, Brandie; three great-grandchildren, Megan, Rebecca, and Mason; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at Forest Oaks Memorial Park, Austin, Texas.
