Paulette Tucker, 67, formerly of Vega, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Cemetery in Vega. Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Vega. (Published in Amarillo Globe-News, October 30, 2014) ----- VEGA — Paulette Tucker, 67, formerly of Vega, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Cemetery at Vega with Johnny Snider of Travis Baptist Church in Memphis officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers at Vega, 110 Main St. Paulette was born June 30, 1947, in Wichita Falls to Marvin and Charline Wood. She was a loving wife and mom. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Tucker, on May 23, 2014; and a brother, Jackson Wood. Survivors include two sons, Cape Tucker and wife Teresa Ann of Ogden, Utah, and Corey Tucker and wife Mary Lee of Newlin; six brothers, Charles “Andy” Wood of Greenville, Terri Ross Wood and Perry Lynn Wood, both of Pittsburg, Gerry Wood of Pennsylvania, Alvis Wood of Lawton, Okla., and Bob Wood of Fort Worth; a sister, Mary Ann Wood of West Virginia; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Viewing will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Amarillo and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the cemetery in Vega.
