Bio

Services for Richard Kluna, 91, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Donny Custar officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home. Born March 18, 1911, in Hempstead, Texas, to Joseph and Jane Kluna, he died Feb. 25, 2003, at the local hospital. A resident of this area most of his life, he retired as a salesman for Tyler and Simpson Company and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and the Adult Men's 4 Sunday school class. He and Cleo Lesley were married on Dec. 21, 1991, in Ardmore. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife of the home; two stepsons, Jerry Brown and Lee Wilburn, both of California; seven stepgrandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. Bearers will be Kenneth French, J.H. "Ike" Kyle, Boyd Howell, Bob Boone, Eric Dunn and Terry Riddle.
