From Ruth Parker (#47328330) Donald Ray Aten, Sr., 77, passed away peacefully at his home on October 22, 2014. Don was a resident of Hobbs, NM for 39 years. Don retired from the Navy as Machinist Mate Chief Petty Officer with a total of 30 years of service. Don also worked in the oilfield for 32 years, many of which were at American Valve and Meter. He was preceded in death by the love of his life Sharon Aten and one son Timothy Aten. Survived by two sons; his wife Debbie Aten; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
