Bio
Ronald Cushnie’s family migrated from Muchalls, Kincardineshire Scotland to the Big Island of Hawaii between 1905 & 1910. His parents William FAG 137671988 and Isabella Scott Forbes FAG 137672185 brought 4 very young children with them and then had 6 more children born in Hilo. Suggested edit: Ronald S. Cushnie, 79, of Keaau, Hawaii, a retired factory engineer for Puna Sugar, died Jan. 7 in Hilo Hospital. Born in Paauhau, Hawaii, he is survived by wife Viola, daughter Kathy Newman, sons Michael and John, sister Margaret Burso and six grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Sunday at Dodo Mortuary. Call after 9 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
