Iola Register, 7 June 1947, Sat, Page 1 Mrs Mary Ann Lee, age 87, died this morning at her home, 308 N. Second street. Mrs Lee was born in Illinoiis and later moved to Springfield, Mo., where she spent her early life. She and her family came to Iola about 37 years ago and she has made her home here since then. She leaves four daughters, Mrs Amos Messingill, Iola; Mrs A C Park, Wichita, Mrs William Deavers, Springfield; Mrs Ollie Parks, Iola; four sons, Andrew, Jake, LeRoy and Ernest Lee, all of Iola, 30 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Waugh Funeral Home. The Rev Stanley P Taylor will be in charge. Burial will be at the Iola cemetery.
