Bio

Lester is the son of Pleasant Jenkins & Sarah "Sally" Howard Watson. Lester married Mittie Dell Morris September 6, 1903 in Saline County, Missouri. Lester and Mittie are the parents of eight children: ~John Lester b. November 8, 1904 d. February 24, 1989 ~Willie P. b. 1907 d. ~Gladys L. b. 1913 d. ~Estil Thomas b. September 9, 1913 d. June 12, 1994 ~Chester Lloyd b. September 4, 1917 d. ~Roberta Mildred b. April 25, 1921 d. 1995 ~Carroll E. b. June 12, 1924 d.October 21, 2016 ~Lula Mae b. February 6, 1926 d. 16 OCT 1989 Mittie died fifteen days after giving birth to Lula Mae due to an embolism of the lung following quinsy with premature birth as a contributing factor (retrieved from death certificate). Lula Mae survived and was given up for adoption to Ben and Ola Mae Reed (her aunt and uncle). ******** After Mittie's death, Lester married Inez Viola (Pierce) Tally on March 29, 1929 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
