Bio

Funeral services will be held for Sidney U. Mote, a resident of 1718 Tyler, at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. G.B. Crawford and Dr. G. Callaway will conduct the services, with burial to be at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. Mrs. Mote died Thursday night at Flow Memorial Hospital. She was born in Clarksville, Jan. 6, 1886 and was married to Charlie Mote. She was a member of the Baptist Church, and had been a Denton resident for 28 years. Survivors include two sons, Charles Russell Mote, of Abilene, and Marshall Eddie Mote of Irving; three daughters, Odie Hogan of Lewisville, Truby Madding of Diana and Bea Dawson of Denton; 8 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
