OBITUARY: SAMUEL EMERSON HOGAN Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2P.M. at the Cantrell Ivery Chapel for Samuel Emerson Hogan, 78, Rev. Richard Gibbs will officiate. Interment will be in the Okmulgee cemetery under the direction of Davis-Cantrell Funeral Home. Mr. Hogan died Thursday in an Edmond hospital. He was born Nov. 23, 1898 in Arkansas. He resided at 1320 East 10th. He moved to Okmulgee from Ada in 1935. He was a groceryman all of his life and owned and operated the Hogan Grocery Store on South Maimi, until his retirement in 1970. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillian Hogan, Okmulgee, two sons, Doug, Edmond, and Joe Hogan, Kansas City, Mo. and four grandchildren.
