December 14, 2005 Obituaries The Herald Banner Charlene McKAY WOLFE CITY — Funeral services for Charlene McKay, 66, of Mesquite are at 2 p.m. Thursday in R.W. Owens & Son Funeral chapel with Rev. James O'Dell officiating. Burial is at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Mrs. McKay died Tuesday at her home, after an illness of 22 years. She was born Jan. 13, 1939, in Sulphur Springs to A.L. and Laura Inez New Tolleson. She married Prentice Ray McKay on May 31, 1955, in Wolfe City. She was an accountant for the Texas Highway Department, and was a member of Eastfield Baptist Church in Mesquite. Pallbearers are Cody McKay, Casey McKay, Josh Perkins, Marlin Roberts, Brandon Jacobs and Joey Brickner. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
