Bio
Joe T. Shows Sr., 77, passed away on October 10, 2014. He was born on April 6, 1937 in Hattiesburg, MS to the late parents of Jesse Eugene Shows and Mary Hazel (Loftin) Shows. Mr. Shows retired as a plant manager from Fishbelt Foods in Moorhead, Ms. in 2002. He attended First Baptist Church of Algiers in Walker, LA and was the mission leader of the First Baptist Church of Algiers' mission in Jackson, MS. He is survived by his wife, Noalene Faye (Bond) Shows; three sons, Joe Terry Shows, Jr., Anthony Gene Shows, Jesse Noal Shows; one daughter, Stacey Lynn Cook; brother, Arvis Wayne Shows; sister, Linda Gayle Davenport; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth and Dianna Shows, Christina Nelson, Adam Cook, Layne Gammill, Tristan and Ella Shows, and two great grandchildren; Lackyn and Aden Neison. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, October 13, 2014 from 5-8:00 pm at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS. Services will be Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at 11:00am at Tutor Funeral Home Chapel in Magee with Bro. Albert Pendarvis officiating. Interment will follow in Magee City Cemetery.
