Bio

Son of Joseph & Cecilia (Wotipka) Havlovic. Married to Marie Ostry on 11-7-1951 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at Prague, NE. He was always a farmer and was still hauling corn to town last November. He was well known as a musician, playing drums and button accordion his whole life and he formed Joe's Blue Ribbon Band in the early 1980s. He also worked at the Prague Elevator, Henningsen Foods in David City, bartended, helped with butchering at Prague and Bruno, and was a mechanic. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
