Stanley E. “Bud” Potter, 73, of Tipton, MO formerly of Renick, died Monday, September 29, 2014 at Tipton Oak Manor in Tipton. He was born July 28, 1941 in Renick to Stanley Martin and Priscilla (Fainter) Potter. Prior to retirement Bud worked as a truck driver. He also was a bus driver for Renick school. Survivors include his children, Richard Potter and his wife Kathy of Huntsville, MO, Jeuetta Strong of Columbia, his partner, Paula Meyer of Renick, seven grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, his brother William Paul Potter of Bellview, IL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bud was a former member of the Renick Christian Church. He loved to hunt, fish, garden and dance. Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at the visitation which will be Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cater Funeral Home, services honoring and celebrating Bud’s life will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayers and burial will be in the Memorial Park
