Robert L. Vasko, 74, of Riverdale died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society – St. Luke's Home in Kearney, Neb. Robert was born Nov. 16, 1939 to John and Marry Ann (Klouda) Vasko in Laramie. He grew up and received his education in the Huntley area. On Feb. 27, 1971, he married Teri Elyse Schlientz in Lexington, Neb. The couple moved to Riverdale, where he was an owner/operator of a semi truck and drove for numerous companies. He traveled from coast to coast and enjoyed taking family on the road with him. Robert retired in 2002, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of Riverdale; sons, Tyler and wife Cathy of Torrington, Scott and wife Kristi of Pine Bluffs, Kelly and wife Donna of Omaha, Neb., Miles and wife Kirsten of Lincoln, Neb., Ethan and wife Heidi of Kearney; grandchildren, Candy and husband Johnathan Pisciotti of Laramie, Paige and husband Keith Resig, of Torrington, Christiana and husband Joshua Kelly of Turtle Lake, N.D., Brenna Vasko or Casper, Alexi Vasko of Goose Creek, S.C., Laine and Wyatt Vasko, both of Pine Bluffs, Josh Vasko of Omaha, Karsyn and Cooper Vasko of Kearney; and six great grandchildren. © Torrington Telegram October 10, 2014
