Ruby A. Peterson beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away October 26, 2009 at the age of 82. She was born on March 25, 1927 in Floresville to Joseph and Annie Ullmann. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard E. Peterson, Sr., her grandson, Brian McWhorter and 2 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her children, Carol A. McWhorter and husband, Jack, Annette M. Franco and husband, Sam, Richard E. Peterson, Jr., Robert W. Peterson and wife Lindy, James E. Peterson and wife Zona; sister, Dorothy Hopkins; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends. Services Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the funeral home. A chapel service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday October 30, 2009 at the Fred Tips Mausoleum Chapel at Mission Burial Park North, 20900 IH 10 West, with interment to follow on the property.
