A longtime resident of Longview, Mrs. Burnett was born in Gilmer to Tildon and Mary Ridgeway. She was a sales associate with Beall's Store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Judson, a lifetime member of the VFW 1183 Ladies' Auxiliary. Mrs. Burnett loved to read and do needlework
