Gwendolyn Eleanor Engstrom, long time Kirkland resident, died December 27, 2005. She was born April 13, 1916 at Elm Grove Township, Iowa. She is survived by her 3 children, Sharon Simpler, Kerry Engstrom, Julie Engstrom Mottern and 7 grandchildren and 8 great. Cremation was January 10, 2006. A Memorial and Interment at Kirkland Cemetery will be held in 2006. Date and time will be advertised. Memorial Services for long time Kirkland, WA resident Gwen Engstrom are planned for 11:00 a.m. March 25, 2006 at the Kirkland Congregational Church located at 106 5th Ave. Kirkland, WA with Pastor Walter Boris officiating. Gwen died Decemeber 27, 2005 at the age of 89 at Home Place Special Care Center in Oak Harbor, WA. She was cremated January 10, 2006. A private internment at Kirkland Cemetery with immediate family will be at a later date. The family suggests a memorial in Gwen's name be made to the Kirkland Congregational Church, 106 5th AVE Kirkland, WA or Evergreen Hospice, 12822 124th LN NE Kirkland, WA.
