Bio

Herald Coaster, October 22, 1969: Funeral services for Joseph T. Pilcik, 82, of 705 Damon St., Rosenberg, are scheduled for 9:45 a.m. Thursday in Triska Funeral Home Chapel and at 10 o'clock in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Rt. Rev. Msgr. J.J. Tydlacka officiating. Burial will be in the East Garden of Gethsemane. Mr. Pilcik died Tuesday in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Industry, he moved to Rosenberg from Wallis in 1941. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Pilcik; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Laslasvic of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Mrs. Lorine Wygrys of Richmond; two sons, Raymond Pilcik and Daniel Pilcik, both of Rosenberg; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Francis Broz of Bleiblerville, Mrs. Albina Zalman of El Campo, and Mrs. Joe Sklar of Latium; and one brother, Edward Pilcik of Industry. Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight in the chapel. Friends may call after 1 p.m. today.
