Mary C Neil, age 97 of Mondamin, Iowa passed away Wednesday April 18, 2012 in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Mary was born January 21, 1915 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to John and Mary Pearl (Steele) O'Rourke. She graduated from Modale High School. She later married Roy L Neill, September 5, 1938 In Papillion, Nebraska. They lived In the Mondamin, Modale areas where they farmed. Mary was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Missouri Valley Iowa. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy, sister; Ellen, son-in-law Jim Cooper, sister; Loretta Neill and brother Bill O'Rourke. Survivors include her daughter Sharon Cooper of Mondamin, Iowa; grandchildren; Pam and husband Steve Hinkel of Mondamin, Iowa, David and wife Shelly of Mondamin Iowa, Douglas and wife Katie of Mondamin, Iowa great grandchildren: Amanda, Travis,and Kandi Hinkel, Justina Marsh, LaTeasa Lund, Cortney Cooper, Kent, Ellen, Brooke, Danielle,and Justin Cooper. great-great grandchildren: Wyatte, Jessilynn, Keirra, Domanic, sister in laws: Dorothy Richter of Humbolt Iowa, Mary O'Rourke of Missouri Valley. Visitation with family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday with a Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Missouri Valley. Iowa The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at the church following the committal service at the cemetery.
