Born to William Carson and LaVenia Healey Tait. He grew up with very special memories in Mt. Carmel UT which included going to school, getting into mischief and working on the family farm. He married his eternal mate Ida Jane Hughes (deceased) on June 4, 1955 in the St. George Temple and they made their home in Fredonia, AZ. Junior was a man who loved the Lord and served in his church callings faithfully. He loved his wife, family and his fellowmen. He enjoyed working, gardening and being outdoors. He truly enjoyed going for rides in the car, especially if one of the stops was for a diet Pepsi. He had a great sense of humor when singing "Hallelujah, I'm a Bum" or "You are my Sunshine". He was patient, tender hearted and never was one-sided. He worked for Kaibab Industries for 45 years as a saw filer. He was a hard worker and very dependable. He would literally give you the shirt off his back and his most enjoyable moments were spent with his family. Junior and Ida had four children, George, Arnold, Shirley and JoAnn; 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings Dorothy Demille, Lamola Howell, Maxine, Ellis and Theo. Services held Oct 2 at Fredonia Chapel. Arrangements made with Mosdell Mortuary of Kanab, UT.
