Bio

Final rites for Ralph (Happy) Shotts, 80, of Monticello, were Friday at Monticello with burial in Riverview Cemetery. He died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 1978. Born Aug. 6, 1898, in Independence, he was married Jan. 24, 1921, to Hazel Boyce, who died in 1972. On Nov. 17, 1974, he married Pearl Tte, who survives. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Reynolds United Methodist Church and Knights of Pythias Lodge. He had been a resident of Monticello since 1970. Other survivors are two step daughters and two stepsons including Gene Tate of Flora. Delphi Carroll County Comet September 20, 1978
