Bio

Charles Louis Voboril, 94, of Yuba City died July 28, 2002, at Emmanuel Care Center in Yuba City. Born in Prague, Neb., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 63 years. He retired after 30 years, as the owner of Voboril Construction in Yuba City. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and the Yuba City Council 5978 of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include a son, Daniel L. Voboril of Marysville; two daughters, Carolyn I. Palm and Mary Froehlich, both of Yuba City; a sister, Pauline Swartz of Wahoo, Neb.; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Voboril; a son, Charles S. Voboril; and a daughter, Julie Voboril. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Isidore Catholic Church with the Rev. Loreto Rojas officiating. Burial will follow in Sutter Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Twin Cities. Appeal Democrat July 30, 2002
