Green ( Mrs. Amanda Green, nee Amanda Mathews, was born near Grove Hill, Alabama, May 15, 1844, and died near Sulphur Springs, Texas, Feb. 13, 1915. She left several children, three sisters, and two brothers, one being Elijah Mathews who lived in Grove County, Alabama, John Mathews living in Oklahoma, and several relatives in Texas. Written by C.
