Merle M. Reed, 82, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013. She was born December 18, 1930 in Dripping Springs, Texas to Bruce M. and Nancy Otelia Edge. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bob P. Reed, her parents, three brothers, Cleve Edge, Homer Edge and Dewey Edge; her sister Nelda Earley. She is survived by her children, Douglas Reed (Nancy), Deleen Stiteley (Jack), sister, Opal Hutchins, brother, Frank Edge (Doris) and grandchildren, Devon Misell (Ryan O'Kelley), David Misell and Scott Reed (Darlene); great-grandchildren, Connor O'Kelley, Skylar O'Kelley and Kane Reed; along with several nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Edge Family Cememtery in Kendall County, Texas.
