Bio

Lela "Pauline" Day, 89, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 13, at Eddy Baptist Church, with her nephews, Butch Hargrove and Gary Day officiating. Special music will be performed by her niece, Barbara Hargrove. Burial will be in Eddy Cemetery. Pauline lived in and around the Eddy community until she was 80 years old. In 1998, she moved to Kerrville to be near her daughter and son-in-law. She was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Kerrville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Day. Survivors include her daughter, Neva Nicholson and husband, David, of Hunt, Texas; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; sister, Lillian Huber and husband, R.L.
