Bio
Cecilia J. Kocian, age 86, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014. Born in Bremond, Texas, she was a practical woman who loved nature and flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Verna Wierzbicki; brothers, Bill, Louis, Bruno, and Kie Wierzbicki; and sisters, Helen Bielomowicz and Natalie Machac. Survived by daughter, Jennifer Arnold and husband James; grandchildren, Paul, Michael, and Lauren Arnold; brother, Anthony Wierzbicki and wife Peggy; sisters, Florine Zann, and Anna Von Drieberg; sister-in-law, Gertrude Wierzbicki; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 22, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Houston Food Bank, by visiting, www.houstonfoodbank.org
