Bio

James F. Koncaba, 88 of Moulton passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2014. He was born August 31, 1926 to the late Frank A. and Elizabeth Koncaba. James married Dolores Wagner on July 18, 1949 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton. He served in WWII and was a 70 year active member of the American Legion Post 392, a 60 year member of the Moulton Volunteer Fire Department, severed on the Lavaca County EMS, and worked 60 years in the Newspaper Printing Industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Delaine Kolacny and 2 sisters Olga Brazda, Tillie Firasek. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of The Moulton Volunteer Fire Department. Burial will follow services in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
