"MONICA FRANCES KAMINSKI Monica Frances Kaminski of Route 1, Box 1, Union Pier passed away at St. Anthony Hospital, Michigan City at 4 P.M. on Aug. 16, 1984 where she had been a patient since July 2, 1984. Mrs. Kaminski was born in Spaulding, Nebraska on Sept. 20, 1921, the daughter of Phillip and Josephine Klassen Eiche. She was 62 years old at the time of her death. She married Leonard Kaminski on Jan. 14, 1941 at Loup City, Nebraska. He survives. Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters and one son.: Cecelia Calandrino, No. Riverside, IL; Theresa Kerns, Carroll Stream, IL; Mary Busick and David Kaminski, both of Three Oaks; 11 grandchildren and her mother, Josephine Eiche of Union Pier. Mrs. Kaminski is also survived by one sister, Mary Anne Caddy of Grand Island, Neb. and one brother, Phillip Eiche of Apalachian, N.Y. She returned to this area in 1956 from Nebraska. Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 20 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Church, Three Oaks, of which she was a member, with Rev. Joseph Koma and Rev. Donald Atchison officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery. She was also affiliated with St. Marys of the Lake church, New Buffalo. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's, Three Oaks.
