Wanda Jean (Heffley) Machalek, 79, longtime Seminole resident died, Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Wanda was born July 3, 1935 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Laura (Loudermilk) and Daniel Matthew Heffley. Wanda grew up in Seminole and attended Seminole Public Schools. Most of her life was spent living in Seminole, however she lived in Temple, Texas for 20 years. Wanda was a longtime Wal-Mart employee and was retired from Wal-Mart at the time of her death. Wanda loved sewing, knitting, watch sewing shows on Saturday morning, playing bingo and spending time with her family. Wanda leaves to cherish her memories her brothers Joe Heffley and his wife Dale of Seminole, Oklahoma, Ronnie Heffley and his wife Jean of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Kenneth Heffley and his wife Debbie of Kentuckey, and Jim Heffley and his wife Judy of Eufaula, Oklahoma, sisters Louise Moore and her husband Archie of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Bertha Pokrefkey of Seminole, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husbands, Bob Heard who died in 1981 and Bill Machalek who died in 2004. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 15, 2014 at Little Cemetery.
