Gaither March 16, 1909 Portland, Multnomah, OR Married Christian Schroeder October 2, 1937 Vancouver, Clark, WA ____________________________ Daily Independent Journal Monday, May 18, 1953 Mrs. Nettie U. Schroeder, resident of Bolinas for the past 3 years, died suddenly Saturday evening from a heart attack at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rena Emerson, 27 Tamalpais Avenue, San Anselmo. She had been ailing for a brief period and was visiting at the Emerson home. A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Mrs. Schroeder was 65, she lived alone at her Bolinas home on Evergreen Road. She was the mother of Floyd Gaither of Larkspur, Marin County contractor; Mrs. Willard F. Scovill of San Rafael; Lloyd W. Gaither of Carmichael, CA; and Mrs. Emerson of San Anselmo; sister of Mrs. Percy Whitaker and Metta Buckman of Portland, OR; and grandmother of 10. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael. Burial will be at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
