"GREEN - Ronald W. 'Ronnie' Ford, 67 years, died suddenly July 15, 2011. He was born in Pruntytown, West Virginia, lived in the Akron area most of his life and was a graduate of Hower Vocational School, Class of '62. Ronnie served in the United States Army Reserves and was employed for 27 years with the Wilkinson Company. He was an avid fisherman and boater. Preceded in death by his parents, Dorsey and Marguerite; he is survived by his wife of 42 years... son... daughter... grandsons... brother... and sister... Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street, Uniontown, Ohio 44685, 1 block NW of the square of 619 and Cleveland Avenue. Pastor Dan Lanser officiating. Burial at East Liberty Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted. Friends may call at the funeral home 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday."
